TRAINING DATES & TIMES
February 2 – June 16, 2019
Saturdays | 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sundays | 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Meets the following 9 weekends:
February 2-3 & 23-24
March 9-10 & 23-24
April 6-7 & 27-28
May 18-19
June 1-2 & 15-16
CLASS REQUIREMENT
Students are required to take 16 classes throughout the duration of the program to experience different styles, levels and methodologies.
TUITION
$3,000 when you pay in full by November 3, 2018
$3,250 when you pay in full by December 15, 2018
$3,500 after December 15, 2018
Students who have graduated from a previous 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered program, receive 50% off the full tuition price.
Students will receive 10 free classes at YogaWorks studios in New York.
Tuition must be paid in full by the early registration date to receive the discounted rate.
Payment Plans available off the full price plus a $50 admin fee (50% of tuition must be received two weeks before start date). Contact us for more details.
PREREQUISITE
We recommend 1 year of consistent yoga practice and require a minimum of six months of a consistence yoga practice or equivalent training.
Meet The Trainer
Jocelyn Casey-Whiteman
Jocelyn Casey-Whiteman, E-RYT 500, is a YogaWorks certified teacher, teacher trainer, and poet living in New York City. Formerly a professional dancer, she integrates a love of fluid movement with a mindful, creative, and introspective practice that creates space for students to learn, explore and transform. She teaches at YogaWorks and Exhale to Inhale, an organization dedicated to bringing yoga to domestic violence shelters in New York.
Jocelyn completed an advanced yoga certification with Kofi Busia and Anatamoy Studies for Yoga Teachers with Jason Brown. Her chapbook Lure was published by the Poetry Society of America, and her poetry appears in journals such as Boston Review, jubilat, and Verse Daily. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia University, teaches at Manhattan Country School, and serves as a mentor for Girls Write Now. To learn more about Jocelyn Casey-Whiteman click here.
